Theory class and road lessons with accredited instructors in dual-control cars at Lanemark Driving School. Every hour you drive is signed at the time, and you watch it add up online.
The LTO sets the minimum hours; we keep the log that proves you met them. Here is the route every student takes.
1
Theory course (TDC)
15 hours in class
Road rules, signs and right of way in our classroom, every session timed in and out. It is what the LTO asks for before your student permit.
2
Student permit
at the LTO
We send your TDC certificate to your LTMS account, so you apply for the permit with nothing to carry.
3
Driving course (PDC)
8 hours, 2 days or more
On the road in a dual-control car with an accredited instructor, who starts and ends each lesson on the phone.
4
Certificate to LTMS
only when the hours are in
Issued when the log shows every hour and every day, then transmitted to the LTO for your licence exam.
R2Proof of hours
Your hours, signed as you drive
Your instructor presses Start when you pull out and End when you park. The minutes between are credited to you, never more than the booked slot, never a lesson that did not happen. Your certificate waits until the road is complete.
Real start and end times on every lesson, kept for the LTO.
No certificate before the full hours and days. Every attempt is recorded.
You see the same log in your student portal, the day you drive.
